Prague – The legendary British band Morcheeba, pioneers of trip-hop, will perform on October 26 in Prague at SaSaZu as part of their tour for the new album "Escape The Chaos". Skye Edwards and Ross Godfrey, who form the core of the band, will present their eleventh studio recording after three decades in the music scene, bringing twelve tracks full of balm and courage. Fans can look forward to a selection of the band's complete discography, including their biggest hits such as "The Sea," "Trigger Hippie," "Blindfold," and "Rome Wasn't Built in a Day," along with many others.
The new album "Escape The Chaos" celebrates the band's 30th anniversary and is the result of two years of work, during which Ross Godfrey produced the tracks with the help of friends and family. The album returns to an organic way of recording, where the band played together in one room. The singles "Call For Love" and "We Live And Die" are already resonating with fans worldwide thanks to their strong lyrics and Morcheeba’s signature sound.
Morcheeba, who have sold over 10 million albums and performed countless world tours, are known for their ability to blend electronic music with organic elements and Skye Edwards' unmistakable vocals. Their music, full of peace and relaxation, resonates across generations and brings comfort in today's hectic times.
"Over the years, many people have told us that our music changed their lives or helped them through something really difficult or traumatic. It feels good to be able to help heal people in our own little way," says Skye Edwards. The concert in Prague offers a unique opportunity to experience live performances of new album tracks as well as classic hits that have shaped the music scene over the past three decades.
